Our team analyzed and evaluated the potential platform, outlying the range of features and validating the idea in terms of current target audience needs. Lionwood.software’s designers provided a PoC prototype with relevant page designs, ensuring the crucial UX criteria were met to safeguard the application’s success upon launch.
The client, an emerging startup whose founder has a profound background in business strategy and development, is aimed to address the needs of patients in their country as closely as possible. Seeing as how many people who require qualified nursing care at home are limited in their choices due to simple lack of information about the available specialists, they envisioned a digital solution that would help patients find specialized nurses, and the nurses – find work closer to their own location.
The entire endeavor hinged on accessibility and convenience, since the suggested value of the product would be to provide service where it’s otherwise unavailable, meaning the solution would need a careful research of target audience and demographics. Since the intended user base does not necessarily need to be tech-savvy, plus it includes patients with various afflictions, a well-designed PoC was needed, backed with a solid discovery phase to collect feedback and see what core features would ensure its adoption.

The PoC prototype developed by Lionwood.software in close cooperation with the customer allows users of both roles (nurses and patients) to create and manage their profiles to facilitate search. Patients can then find nurses based on location (vicinity) and required specialty, book their services, and contact via chat. The system also includes safe payment functionality, visit confirmation and feedback gathering features.
