Project

Participating in vehicle auctions can account for as much spent effort as the expected savings. This prompted the emergence of intermediary companies that facilitate the process for end buyers. Lionwood.software was engaged in creating a toolkit, consisting of web dashboards and mobile applications for a leading Ukrainian car importer, helping managers automate interactions, and providing additional security and visibility – and delivered it in four months.

Badzinger Auto is an automotive company specializing in importing pre-owned vehicles from Europe, with a focus on after-lease cars. They offer a wide selection of used cars with verified mileage and competitive pricing, ensuring customers have access to reliable vehicles. Badzinger Auto also provides services such as vehicle delivery across Ukraine and assistance with selecting the right car to meet individual needs.

Challenge

Since the company often serves as a middle link between vehicle auctions and end customers, the management needs to routinely deal with updates, communication, and security measures. This tends to be time-consuming, especially while managing auction accounts and the customers’ profiles, so a multi-functional solution that would automate parts of the process and provide additional visibility was needed.

Results

The solution, delivered in less than four months, includes a web tool for managers and mobile apps for both employees and clients. The web tool allows to view auction details, user action logs, manage user profiles, and view statistics on purchased vehicles that would be later used to finalize the transaction with the client. The customer-side mobile app allows to track progress on the bid/purchase, eliminating the need for extra messaging.
