The company has welcomed and educated almost 21,000 students from more than 138 countries and territories in the UK and provides direct employment for close to 1,350 people in the UK. Since 2006, INTO has successfully launched partnerships with 22 universities in Europe, North America, and Asia.
The client has a software development team in the UK and they had the need to increase their development and test teams in a quick turnaround. This was for a particular suite of new, incoming features. Since the scope of work wasn't determined as continuous, long-term work, they decided to boost the development by involving Lionwood.software as the staff augmentation partner.
Lionwood.software has provided development work using .NET and Angular for a B2C website. The work mainly included features around massive improvements in some functionalities intended for the student applicants’ accessibility.
The onboarding process started with the client’s onsite visit which made the onboarding a great start to our collaboration.
We work using the Agile process and our team has been working on the delivery of a number of features. The communication was performed through Jira, Slack, and GitHub for scrum and team conference calls. We started working on this particular project with 3 team members (two Full-Stack .NET developers and one Quality Assurance engineer), but in 2021 the team was extended and now it consists of 5 engineers, 2 AQA, and is it still growing.
