The app can help improve access to healthcare and make the process of scheduling appointments more efficient and convenient for patients.
When the pandemic hit the world in 2019, the online consultation with a doctor has become increasingly popular as it allows patients to receive medical attention while minimizing the risk of exposure to the virus. So our client’s goal was to provide the possibility to schedule appointments with doctors online to save time, to reduce the waiting time and optimize doctor’s occupation. Users should be able to view detailed profiles of the doctors they are considering, their experience and qualifications. Also, the app should allow users to leave reviews for the doctors they have seen, which can help other patients make informed decisions.
The system consist of different roles: Admin - who's able to manage clinics; clinic admin - who's able to manage specific clinic, a special schedule for doctors, libraries of local definitions, permissions, etc.; doctor - who`s able to manage their schedule and list of patients; patient - the end user, who`s able to make an appointment and have a video call with the doctor.
